Often this simple act of hospitality sparks friendships that circle the globe and grow into the decades. For a music lover, there is perhaps nothing more satisfying than opening your home to a visiting musician and supporting their art.

This sounds lovely, but what makes a great billet host?
A great billet host is a gracious host and a friend in the making. Our billet hosts love music and have a deep desire to support the work of professional musicians. Many have developed long-standing friendships with musicians, welcoming the same musicians into their homes year after year.
What exactly do I need to provide?
Billet hosts are asked to provide lodging for our visiting guest artists and musicians. This includes providing a furnished and private room and access to kitchen and washroom facilities.
Do I get any perks?
In addition to wonderful friendships and the satisfaction of supporting musicians from around the world, our billet hosts enjoy two free drink vouchers for their musician’s concert.
