In this evening’s edition of #TafelmusikTogether, we revisit our January program, Gone With the Winds—and specifically, Canadian composer Cecilia Livingston‘s commission. Her work, for our wind sextet, plays with the repeated note figures of Mozart’s K.388 and Beethoven’s op. 71, while hinting at “Tara’s Theme” from the 1939 motion picture Gone With The Wind.
