Soprano Teresa Mahon sings regularly with many professional vocal ensembles in and around Toronto, including The Elora Singers, Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Toronto Oratory Choir, Tallis Choir, and Toronto Festival Singers. She has also appeared with Choir 21, Theatre of Early Music, Opera Atelier, and Toronto Consort. Recent highlights have included singing Steve Reich’s Proverb for Music in the Barns, the 2021 RBC Bridges Showcase with Soundstreams, and performing as the soprano soloist in Faure’s Requiem with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. She can be heard as a featured soloist on The Elora Singers album, The Wonder of Christmas. Teresa was delighted to sing with Tafelmusik for the first time in May 2022, in Bach’s B-Minor Mass with Masaaki Suzuki, and is excited to be joining the choir this season.
