Countertenor James Dyck has happily called Toronto home for the past four years. He has performed as a chorister and soloist with groups including Early Music Alberta, The Theatre of Early Music, and The Trinity Bach Project, as well as the Schola Cantorum and Collegium Musicum ensembles at the University of Toronto where he is completing a BMus and a Linguistics Major in the Arts & Science Faculty. In addition to his love and interest in singing and early music, he also enjoys dreaming up and baking delicious creations for his friends and family. He is thrilled to be joining Tafelmusik for the upcoming season.
