Actor and soprano Alison Beckwith has performed on stages around the world since she was young. Some recent theatre, opera, and concert credits include Women of the Fur Trade (Neptune Theatre, Thousand Islands Playhouse) The Magic Flute (Opera Atelier), Liars at a Funeral (Drayton Entertainment), Appropriate (Coal Mine Theatre, DORA Award for Outstanding Production), Celebrating Clara Schumann (Festival of the Sound, The Elora Festival, Confluence Concerts), A (musical) Midsummer Night’s Dream (Driftwood Theatre), workshops with the Tarragon Theatre, Studio 180, and Theatre Direct, and multiple national commercial campaigns. Alison has sung with Opera Atelier, Elora Festival Singers, Trinity Bach Project, Soundstreams Choir 21, and Tallis Choir. She is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School. This is her fourth season with Tafelmusik.
