The members of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir mourn the passing of Board of Director member and donor Victor Tung.
Victor joined the board in 2019 and was a pillar of strength during the difficult times brought on by the covid pandemic. In his quiet manner he brought forward ideas that were well thought out, innovative, and clearly expressed.
Despite his busy schedule at BMO he was very generous with his time and was always willing to help as needed. His connections through Ascend Canada provided an opportunity for Tafelmusik to connect with the pan-Asian community through a virtual performance. His expertise in information technology also provided Tafelmusik with much needed knowledge promoting Tafelmusik’s expansion into digital worlds. His warm smile and caring demeanor will be greatly missed.
