We know our audience is deeply missing Tafelmusik’s Chamber Choir. It is our great pleasure to present to you this recording by our very own musicians from their homes.
Chamber Choir Director, Ivars Taurins (remotely) directs the baroque choir and orchestra in Johann Sebastian Bach’s Chorale “Jesus bleibet meine Freude,” from Cantata 147 (Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring). Taurins describes this piece as one that radiates serene joy, hope and quiet strength.
