Samuel Mariño
Soprano soloist
Samuel Mariño’s unique vocal talent and glittering stage presence have earned him a stellar reputation with audiences and orchestras alike, and allow him to explore a wide range of roles in the baroque and classical repertoire. In the 2023/24 season, Mariño sings the title role in a new Handel pastiche, Sarrasine, at the International Handel Festival Göttingen, while on the concert platform he reunites with longtime collaborators L’Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles for new year concerts, on tour with Gabetta Consort for a program of Handel at Opéra de Lausanne, and joining Concerto di Cavalieri for a European tour. He returns to the Gluck Festival in a program of Mozart arias and Ah! Perfido under Michael Hofstetter, and makes a welcome return to the USA in recital with pianist Jonathan Ware for Pro Arte Musical at the Pablo Casals Symphony Hall, Puerto Rico.
