Soprano Jennifer Wilson performs regularly as both a chorister and soloist, in genres ranging from early music to contemporary classical. She has appeared in concert with a variety of Canadian choral ensembles, including the Theatre of Early Music, Ottawa Bach Choir, Elora Singers, and Melos Early Music Choir. Recent solo roles include Iphis in Handel’s Jeptha, Poppea in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio. Jennifer holds degrees in voice performance from Queen’s University, the University of Toronto, and the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is currently pursuing a DMA in historical voice performance at the University of Toronto.
