I am thrilled to announce Tafelmusik’s involvement with the University of Toronto’s Master of Music Performance (Instrumental) Program. This unique and comprehensive two-year graduate program in instrumental baroque performance on period instruments is the result of Tafelmusik’s ongoing relationship with the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto as Baroque Orchestra-in-Residence, and expands our already established programs geared to training the next generation of baroque performers. With both the existing one-year Advanced Certificate in Performance and the new two-year Masters program, students have an interesting choice of courses in baroque performance on period instruments.
